about

"a clockwork frozen in time" was inspired by my listening to steampunk influenced music over the past few months. I do not consider this a "steampunk" release in that, without my stating the steampunk connection, I seriously doubt anyone else would get one on their own. More to the point, this music is my attempt to mix the mechanical with the melodic to create a sense of the music always moving forward in time but always cycling back on its fixed path as do the hands on the face of a pocket watch.

The tracks were recorded with a Fender Jazz bass right into the laptop using an M-Audio interface, Presonus Studio One, and Audacity.
